Dr. Shivam Patel
Founder and Program Director
Dr. Shivam Patel is a distinguished clinician and the owner of the Midwest Center for Dentistry and Implants in Bensenville, IL. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he received his Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences. He went on to complete his doctorate at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.
Following graduation from dental school, he completed a comprehensive training in implant dentistry at the AAID Maxicourse in Atlanta, GA in 2012. Dr. Patel accepted a position at the Atlanta Center for Restorative Dentistry and worked alongside Dr. Edward Mills, one of the world's leading dental educators.
In 2016, he became an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and is in the process of completing his Diplomate for the American Board of Oral Implantology.
Dr. Patel is a leader and educator and serves as the IT and Communications Chairman for the Advanced Dental Implant Studies Program. The group is composed of clinicians from all across the country that strive to be on the cutting edge of implant, restorative, and regenerative dentistry. His dedication to clinical excellence and his passion for integrating cutting-edge techniques, such as digital dentistry, bioactivators, and laser dentistry, position him at the forefront of modern dental innovation. Dr. Patel is dedicated to shaping the future of the profession and empowering fellow dentists with the knowledge to thrive.
Dr. Brijesh Patel
Program Co-Director
Dr. Brijesh Patel is a distinguished graduate of Temple University, where he was recognized as an honor student in the Oral Surgery Honors Program and received an Excellence Award in Cosmetic Dentistry. With extensive experience in general dentistry and advanced training in implant dentistry, he has earned Fellowship and Diplomate status from the International Congress of Oral
Implantologists (ICOl) and the American Association of Implant Prosthetics (AAIP), reflecting his advanced clinical expertise in implantology.
As a respected course director with Hiossen, Dr. Patel has trained more than 1000 dentists in implant placement surgery and continues to serve as a course director, with particular expertise in immediate implants and full-arch rehabilitation procedures such as All-on-4 and Alt-on-6. He is an active member of the Chicago Dental Society and the American Dental Association, and remains committed to continuing education to provide patients with the highest standard of care. Dr. Patel is a licensed implantologist in Dubai. Fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi, Dr. Patel is known for his patient-centered approach, clinical precision, and dedication to delivering exceptional, comprehensive dental treatment. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, reading, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen
